Simón Berrío Ariza: poet, teacher, amateur linguist, and former sailor. Born in Manizales, Caldas, Colombia and raised between Texas and New York City. Has traveled most the world, and presently resides back in his homeland. Author of The System, Loose Leaves, and Heptad. His principle interests include epic, religion, myth, language, and the human condition on toward its future. His aim in his poetry and his imagined world Lannunival/NoF (where most take place in) is principally the creation of a Human Epic that’s goal is to codify and emblemize humanity ante its destruction either through its own self made chaos or recreation as it seeds life unto other worlds and multiplies into other forms.
